An original vintage knitting pattern from the 1940s era.
Instructions to knit three cardigans for baby.
The wool used for all the three cardigans was Bairns-Wear Lambs Wool or Baby 3 ply.
The three designs have all been named as:
'Geni" (top right photo) One size to fit 20" width at underarms. 8.5" length from shoulder and 7" sleeve seam. The needles recommended are a pair of No. 9 (3.75mm) and a pair of No. 10 (3.25mm) with a tension given as 7 sts to 1".
"Faun" (top left photo) One size to fit 19.5" width at underarms. 10" length from shoulder and 6.5" sleeve seam. The needles shown are No. 9 (3.75mm) and No. 10 (3.25mm) with a tension of 7 sts to 1".
"Leprechaun" (the main photo) One size to fit 19" width at underarms. 7.5/8" length from shoulder and a 6.5" sleeve seam. The needles used are No. 9 (3.75mm and No. 11 (3.0mm) with a tension of 8 sts to 1".
The leaflet has some creasing and nicks around the edges, but overall is in a fairly good vintage condition considering its age.
