A vintage knitting pattern for two sets of baby mittens and bootees, one set knitted on two needles and the other on four needles,
To fit birth to 6 months,
Measurements:
The set on 2 needles - 3.75" length of foot for the bootees and the mitts 2" across the palm,
The set on 4 needles - 4" length of foot for the bootees and the mitts 2.25" across the palm,
Original yarn: Emu 3 ply wool with a tension of 8 sts and 13 rows to 1" using no. 10 (3.25mm) needles,
The pattern leaflet is probably from early 1940s as it is a small print, only around 5" x 7", with some creasing but overall fair condition for the age,
