The original yarn used Sirdar Bigga is now discontinued so a substitute will be needed.
Yarnsub.com says that this yarn was a super chunky plied yarn, 50% acrylic, 50% wool.

Tension: 6sts and 9 rows to 10cm (4") over stocking stitch, using 15mm needles.
