The original yarn Sirdar Zanzibar is now discontinued, so a substitute will be needed.

The yarn looks like an eye lash type yarn with a tension of 20 sts and 26 rows to 10cm (4") over stocking stitch, using 5mm needles.

You should work a tension piece before starting and change needles accordingly to get the correct tension.
